I just want a car that is 100% It's had a driveline issue since the Cecil event last year--but I think it's finally solved...

My car is down to 3005# w/ a nearly dry tank. Still has AC, airbags, radio & the SUNROOF! I'll be running lighter wheels this year, so it should be 299x.

I'm down (just) under 200#--race weight abt 319x

I have about 75# on you , so our race weights are pretty close. Mine will be higher this year because I am adding a roll bar for a bit more safety at open track days. . .

Any new blood out there in SM on the national scene? I know there will be several killer XP Evos this year. . .

Just a quick update on changes I'm making to the car for the 2009 season. Others please chime in with your changes. . .

- Nagisa adjustable front control arms
- Deck Mechanical front tie rod ends
- Deck Mechanical rear toe-adjust rods
- getting rid of the mini-radiator and going with a CBRD thin radiator (a little heavier, but better cooling for the road course)
- new front end/splitter/undertray treatment from DHP for more front downforce
- finally getting new brake pads after 3 years out of the old set!!! will have 2 sets - one for AX and one for TA. . .
- new intake setup (arc box/hard turbo inlet pipe) w/ +40whp

That's it for now. We'll see if she comes together in time for Winged Warrior V in the beginning of May. . .

I know some of you are interested in the different wheel options out there. There is a new wheel out by Forgeline called the EV1R that is ultra stiff and pretty light. An 18x10 would weigh just under 18lbs. They are custom made so any offset is available.

Nice! You will have tons of power feeding that thing E85. . .

I have most of my parts ordered for this year's upgrades - just waiting on UPS, USPS, airmail from Japan . . . I HATE waiting!!

Every year my buddies and I say we are going to start our spring projects/mods earlier so that we are not stressing out right before the first race of the year trying to get the car together . . . and every year we still end up in a rush at the last minute trying to make that first race. It never fails. No matter how early we start - things never come together until the day before the first race!

I'm waiting as well. Switching over to the Ohlins DFV's so we'll see how that works out. I'm going with a single pump tune on 1200cc injectors so the power and boost will probably be moderate.

Single pump tune as in pump gas or as in single fuel pump? If you are talking single fuel pump with E85 you should be able get somewhere around 500 Dynojet whp. . . that will be a beast to control on the AX course!

I think I'm good in the power department (didn't ever think I'd be saying that!) so I am going for more downforce and refining my suspension setup to get more overall grip. . .
