each team has 2 cars. if i were team boss, i would have one car with and the other without that way you have the performance factor with the KERS, and the reliabily factor without it

If you're Ferrari with two legitimate title contenders, who do you give the fast car to?

That would be a really hard choice, Kimi could have scored alot more points last season if he didn't have a few late in the race mistakes. Both are polished drivers should be interesting.

I hear BMW is the team to look out for next season as they have the most reliable and consistent KERS system to date. We will see what developes in a few weeks when race 1 starts. It should also be interesting to see some new aero developement as the teams try to find loopholes in the rules. Williams is already working on some vertical fins surrounding the cockpit are.

As for the Ferrari drivers, Kimi is definitely the faster of the two. He just needs to wake up during the races...

Fast isn't any good when you don't bother for half the races.

McLaren looks way off the pace at Barcalona this week. Now that their finaly running the 09' rear spoiler it seems to be degredating the tires badly. We'll see how it all shakes out in 2 weeks.

McLaren always seems to be slow in pre-season testing.

I've got to say the new BrawnGP car looks really impressive. I can't believe they just showed in Spain and went quickest right out of the box. Even Massa is qouted as saying they (Ferrari) don't have the ultimate speed that Brawn has showed. This is going to be a great season, can't wait.

Friday practice in 2 weeks... so stoked!

You and me both.

Seems MM finally admitted that their subpar lap times are due to aero. Interesting. Without a doubt this next week of testing will have me wired.

Are they testing this coming week? I thought this last test at Catalunya was the last of the season...

From what I've read, six teams have concluded testing but MM will be testing this next week at Jerez. It's do or die time.
