If I am not mistaken that was Kent Jordan driving the silver mullerized car. Not the latest one, this video is kinda old.

^No kidding. Let that be a lesson to you guys who are running track days/time attack with any decent amount of speed/effort who do NOT have a roll cage or bar installed. But in an end-over-end instance a roll bar might not have saved him from 0 injuries, so design well, drive well, live well.

It's also not a matter of skill or speed, it can happen to anyone or be caused by someone else and you eat the dust like the mini cooper video someone else mentioned.

Debate = over. Get some bars.

Wow, what a violent crash. This is exactly why I keep telling myself I WONT do a track day in my Evo without a roll cage. It can happen to anyone any day at the track.

I'm still not sold on roll bars. Maybe on a gutted track only evo like that its a good idea.... but driving around with a cage and no helmet on the street isn't such a good idea.

The video is upset at the point of notice. His hands were slow to react, did something break to cause the imbalance?

Yeah... that vid is pretty old, been around a few times.

Good reminder though about how dangerous a trackday can be. A guy in a Mini died in the same turn last year.

I think that he may have tried to get back on the track to fast. If he would have gone four wheels off in a straight line it could have been avoided. Maybe.
