Looking good Marty.

Where did the 2009 Evo T2 specs end up:
- wheel and tire size
- spring rates
- TIR

Thanks. As for the specs we ended up with 17x9 inch wheels with 275 tires, 500 fr and 700 rear springs, and a 41mm TIR-turbo inlet restictor for those that dont know what that means.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious about the 17x9 wheel and 275 tire spec. Hoosier recommends a rim width within .5" of the tread width (http://www.hoosiertire.com/faqrr.htm#4). The tread width of the 275/40-17 R6 is 10.3". It seems that a 245/45-17 (tread width=9.4") would be closer to the recommendation for a 9" wheel. I'm curious whether the advantage gained by .9" of tread width overcomes the disadvantage of non-optimum wheel fitment.

If I was running a time attack I think they would be very close but with the abuse the tires take from 40 minute sprint races, the more tire on the ground the better. Actually, of the last 2 races I ran, I used one set of tires and I ran faster in the second race and I have enough tread left to run a 3rd. I could have never done that on the old 245s. I know it isnt optimum but Ill take what they give me. Atleast its at the low end of recommended rim width.
