That thing just changes the shift pattern from H to sequential style. Still have to clutch in/out of every gear. And from those that had it and actually tried to use it have said it was garbage. There are a few companies that build rally car boxes that offer "drop in" sequential boxes. But your looking at a new trans , cables, shifter, electronics, etc. plus the maintenance on that style transmission requires rebuilding every so many operating hours.

i believe the Quaife sequential is about $12-14k, last i checked

as for the Ikeya, i planned to go that route. looked legit, for what it was. ditching the H pattern in favor of an up-and-down lever is really all i want.

so, it's garbage as in it doesn't work right? fragile? part failures? i want to be sure they are saying it's junk because it is, not just because it's not what they expected. also, links to any of these reviews would be helpful.

Hello, I've seen Ikeya, but it is not what I look for, however good the quaife sequential, later this month or more 'later in mid-next month should do a test with an Evo that mounts this change is expensive but .... I think the only solution

Yeas the rain was a ton of fun…. I'll be on vacation during Lightning, but, I also bought an E92 M3 so…the evo's days are numbered.

haha for me just a high rev'ing V8 sports car that handles as an E92 does, is just long term the platform I want to build on.

Furthermore, I knew after talking with Balrok I wasn't going to pursue w2w in the evo, so stopped progression on the car as it sits now, and want to start racing Spec Miata next year…so selling the EVO could fund that for a bit…. as well as mod the M3.

Bought a set of track wheels for it already… looks much better than these stockers
