No, save your cash. To see the real world differences, you would need to be a semi-pro driver.

Just take the car to the track and get some seat time. That's the best mod you can do.

Car is currently on jack stands. Putting on new AST 4100's and doing a 5 speed swap. Oh yeah I removed a bunch of crap (HVAC, headliner, random crap)

The road out to the track is dirt. So on the trailer it catches a lot of rocks from my truck.

Ok here is mine. DD/Track Car

Started out minor bolt-ons, intake, MBC, TBE, fuel pump, I took it out and did a hand full of SCCA TSD rally events, Cadillac Color Tour, Cast In Stone, and a couple others, retired from that when I removed the front under tray during a rough road section at 60mph trying to make up ground. This was when the car had about 6000 miles on it. You should have seen some of the guys faces when they saw I was on the stock Advans. At that point I found that rallying an Evo maybe too expensive for me. I still want to buy a manufacture class rally car or group 2 car, but that is another subject. After my rally days came to a hold, my Mechanic/fabricator got me hooked up with experience performance, which is a private group that rents Grattan several times a year...I have been hooked ever since. I have only done lapping days so far, but I long to compete, just for the sake of competing. I killed the stock block on Grattan's front straight a few years ago and haven't had the $$ to get it back out there, but I just got a serious raise so 2011 will be the year.

Agreed

High HP, low driver skill = a dangerous situation for everyone on the track.
