Martin Brady on Day 1: "We had a dung day, near demolished a bridge on ss1, got stuck in dust- stage 2 notes were awful, (were learning all things considered not bad for first time making notes) then no anti lag, then no turbo... But we are having a ball, won both our runs of superspecial, and we are 12th o/a even though we are like a pair of wounded gazelles- Car better now thanks to Balze & Peter at the 45min service"
Team USA – JOHNSON/BEAVIS after SS9 (first stage today)
“We are doing very well, although these roads are different from the ones we have in the United States. They’re not so windy and the stages are not as long.”

That is too funny, I just saw this thread and hadn't seen the results and when everyone was betting on page one I was going to say don't count spain out. LOL. Maybe Team USA will learn and run Evos next time! I think Italy would have fared better with Galli behind the wheel.
