This is such a blast from the past. I know the instructor who was riding in the Audi. The guy in the Evo was trying to have some fun. No idea what his level of skill was, but judging by the run group I'm going to say he was a novice/beginner. Regardless of him being irresponsible, the club did make a mistake by staging there. They learned from it and from what I know no longer stage at that location. People make mistakes, and as long as no one was seriously injured and everyone learned from it, it's all good.

That is an oldie. That used to be the staging area for this particular track (Pocono East) that all clubs used until that incident. It is mostly used for bikes hence the lack of guard rails on it.
