Let's hope so. The Solstice debacles have left a fairly sour taste in my mouth the last couple of years. Made me realize that the best I could ever hope for competition-wise was to run something like a TA. I could never put up with the politics of SCCA sponsored or similar series. ![Shooting Spree](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/2gunsfiring_v1.gif)

Update from Road America. Lots of work these past few days have been paying off. Marty, Ryan and I came out to Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI this past weekend (I actually was a day delayed) to get a couple test days in and finish sorting things out. On the way out Marty and Ryan stopped by AMS and took care of some last minute things, as always the guys at AMS took good care of them. The car was dialed in with the assistance of Bryan from JRZ and therefore has a nice setup under it.
First Qual the car was orginally setup for a dry qual, but we realized quickly that rain would be the case for most of the day. We adjusted accordingly and put the rain tires on the car. Marty and I chatted about the objective and for the most part it was to run a safe session and learn the wet line for the possibility that the race would be under wet conditions. He ran strong as usual and put the car on provisional pole after the first day of qualifications. We did find a few minor things that needed attention and Mark from AMS was quick to assist by making the parts available.
Today we awoke to a much dryer track and overcast, yet clearing skys. Ryan and I prepped the car while Marty reviewed all the data and video we'd put together. This qual was set for later in the afternoon (just before 4pm local). Marty went out on scrubbed tires and warmed everything up and ran a few laps. We then called him in and Ryan and I swapped on a set of stickers for Marty to run one quick hot lap to see what that could do. One flyer lap seemed to be all he needed today to take qual day 2 provisional pole. He's on his game and we have the car ready for the final qual session tomorrow morning, which depending on the weather should be the coolest dry session of the 2009 National Championship qualifications. You can follow the Live results via the SCCA website here: http://www.livetiming.net/SCCA/Runoffs/LiveTiming.asp Here are the latest T2 results: http://www.livetiming.net/SCCA/Runof...=1024&Class=T2 and if you'd like to watch the race live via the Internet on Friday at 10:30am Central, here: http://www.speedcasttv.com/
Wish us luck!

Excellent news! Keep us bench racers updated.
It looks like the Solstice is still a canidate to complete for a podium finish. The Z4 also looks good according to the qualifying times. It's odd that the 350z is not in the top 10. What happened to the lone Lotus?
1- Evo
2- Solstice
3- Evo
4- BMW Z4
5- Solstice
6- Camaro
7- BMW M3
8- Solstice
9- BMW M3
10- BMW M3
14- STI

Congrats to Marty Grand for qualifying on the pole and improving his time in the final session to a 2:31:172.
Also, congrats to William Peter for qualifying 5th.
Popular Don Knowles in his Solstice GXP is only 3 tenths back sitting in 2nd.
Should be a good race!![Thumb Up](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/icon14.gif)

Thanks! It is going to be a great race tomorrow, hopefully one I come out on top! The car is running great (thanks AMS and TRE) and the suspension is the best it has ever been (thanks Bryan JRZ).
