Hoosier A6 vs. Kumho V710...Hard data?

I'm debating between running a 285/30 V710 and A6 next year for autox. I've always heard that the A6's are slightly faster but I'm having a hard time finding any hard data on this. For those of you that have run both compounds, what kind of differences have you observed?
I have had the two brands in the 285 size next to each other dismounted and observed the following size differences: The A6 was about a half inch wider and a quarter inch taller. This would imply to me that the A6 may have a traction advantage while the V710 may have a gearing advantage as well as better feel due to being having a shorter, stiffer sidewall.
Most courses I run are concrete but I would be interested in opinions on either surface.

The A6, when new, is more than slightly faster than the V710 (assuming the driver isn't sucky). However, the A6's wear out faster and when they get hard, they are done. The V710's drop off isn't as substantial and they basically have grip until they don't any more.

Look at the Nationals results and see how many A6's were being run vs. V710's...

I know most people use Hoosier at nationals but I thought a lot of that had to do with contingency.

That helps, but the tires are simply better when you compare two sets of sticker tires.

Now, 20 runs in? 50 runs in? 90 runs in? That's a different story.

If you want to be fast, but have no need to be THE FASTEST, run the V710's. They last far, far, far longer.

I realistically run about 10 events a year. So about 50 runs. I usually buy new tires every spring so the A6's may be the best fit. I did love the last set of V710's I had in the 245 width however.....
I was really looking for some sort of actual comparison data. The last tire test I found was comparing the V710 to the older Hoosier R-comps.

I dont have actua comparative Data because I dont run a datalogging system, but I can tell you that A6's are a tad faster for the first 25-35 runs. After than, they are no faster than a Kumho, and last half as long. I ran 12 events this year, most of which I had a co-driver, and I still have an ok amount of tread depth, and they still have enough grip for 970 pt days in a very competetive region.
