ha yeah. I saw some ice fishing dudes already driving their trucks on the ice 2 weeks ago.

We are also in a bay where the water doesnt move much. Ice is usually thicker there. Just got my new snow tires mounted up, they fricken rock! Tonight, deep snow tire testing!

make sure WAAG is still running. I heard the ice conditions are iffy.

So far FVSCC is still a go for sunday, however if you do plan on coming, check the website prior to leaving.

Just got off the phone with Parps & it's a go at this time. From the WAG website.

Sun. January 17, 2010 -- Hustisford, WI
14" of good ice (as of Friday.) Event looks like a go, check back after 8:00pm Saturday for final confirmation. Event is full, pre-registrations are no longer being accepted for January 17th.

its usually not the thickness of the ice thats a problem now, its having big puddles of water when it gets warm out. Also the boat landings where you get on usually become impossible for cars.

Good luck tomorrow!
