Your opinions on a possible rally venue in GA
We're in the planning stages for a Rally venue in mid-west Georgia, and I'd like your opinions on what you'd like to see.
The plan is to have a RallyCross circuit for wheel-to-wheel racing, a Super Special Stage/Race of Champions layout (think X-Games if you don't know those) and space for SCCA RallyCross events as well.
This poll is simply to help us get an idea of what the community wants so we know where to get started.
Thanks for your input.

We're starting small on the grassroots level. We are looking to draw national sponsors for the arena though. We hope that this will be big in the SE as there aren't any other venues like this ... well, anywhere that we know of.
This will be accessible to the public for events. Much like any small race track around the country, groups can rent the venue for a day and hold their own events and regional/national sanctioning bodies can also plan events. We will also be holding our own competition and "just for fun" events.

I hope you get a lot of response to this poll and wish you best of luck with the event planning. I'm assuming you're polling other forums too (especially the Subie and VW crowd) because those are the guys that typically compete in the grassroot level.
Although I'm located in SoCal, I can provide my experience and would be glad to help with any logistics planning. I'll PM you my email address if you don't have it already.

Thanks PSG. I got your PM.
Yes, we're polling may groups (including Subaru and VW communities) and are in contact with sanctioning bodies like Rally America and NASA.
Basically, the poll is to give us an idea of where to start. We will eventually build both styles of courses and plan to hold events regularly.

Best wishes. My friend in Australia sold his Evo 8 tarmac rally car because entry fees have risen to nearly $3000.00 per event. I know rally cost are extensive and here in the US they have been in the $1000.00 range. If you have plenty of land and can organize the event to run properly within a limited cost you should have a winner....

i think if they would lower it they might will get more money.
Like in my country the entry's exceeds always well over 100 cars ...
Mean while over here they are happy if they get 60
And my country population is just over 11 million...
just for food for though.
