my thought was that this is the only day both drivers are testing for them. The team stressing that everything would be = between the 2 would run the same fuel load. Then for the next 2 days play with the levels and effects of the levels. But that is just my working theory.

^ Agree. History has shown that whevenever racing with Schumacher, your always treated equal and have identical setups (but never the lower car number).
Except of course when your being told to stop prior to the finish line to let schumacher pass. Or if he hates you and runs into you to secure a championship. But those are "racing incidents" to be sure.

Every team was attempting to ring out the fastest time possible for Pub. purposes on this first day. What is interesting is the top three were just 2/10 of a second apart AND Sauber,as opposed to the other "top contenders", was second!
Cannot wait until tomorrow.

I doubt this is true, but even if it was, I would rather wait and see how those cars perform with full tank of gas on a race day, then start speculating on possible '10 title contenders.

I remember the speculation about Honda's first earth schemed car and it was fabulous!
It was slow enough all season that you could really take in all the sponsors and beautiful carbon work. Where the other cars were so much faster that it was just a blur... Now thats bad publicity for them!
On topic: yea, speculation is pretty much what we have until Michael punts somebody off track during practice citing "they failed to yield to the blue flag".

question for you guys, i got my tickets to the australian GP from www.grandprix-tickets.com only when i completed the order, the confirmation email said my lanyard and tickets would be mailed to be via fedex 7-10 days before the event. only problem being i'm leaving precisely 5 days before the event.
has anyone ever ordered tickets from them before, and can i count on the tickets getting to me before i leave? its gonna be hella expensive to 3-night the tickets to australia if it doesn't get to me in time.
it gave my the option of changing the mailing address to the location i'll be staying at in australia. i may have to call and do that, only we are changing hotels a few times and honestly i don't trust a hotel clerk to hold my tickets for me (especially since i'm flying halfway around the world for a race )
