Yeah, good chance of that, but they also might be down to 6 good engines left, so you never know. After replacing their 1st engine due to concerns, that 2nd engine sure didn't sound very good at the end of the race.

Bahrain Results

I am to disappointed to even comment other than to say hydraulics, hydraulics will be the death of me...perhaps next race Sauber can make one of their cars to the finish!

Later, perhaps, Ken

Sucks to SV have to give up such a strong start, i was impressed that he was able to hang on to 4th.

Ferrari has to be the favorite to win the constructors title at this point, both cars and drivers looked impressive all weekend.

The FIA needs to react to what we all saw yesterday, I expect that at say Valencia, but can imagine if the rest of the season is the same thing... that would blow.

Very happy for Ferrari, very sad for Vettel. Schumi's drive is quite good considering he hasn't been in a F1 car for 3yrs, give him a few more races and he'll be tip-top again.

Ferrari was running very good this weekend. Lets wait and see if others can catch them this season or not.

Yeah, seemed like everyone was just nursing the hell out of their tires the whole race.

People are speaking about the bor issue. One published idea from I believe wittmarsh was to subject all cars to make 2 pit stops manditory. The objective would be to delete one stop strategies and make the drivers push harder not worrying about degregartion.

Also FIA is looking into diffusers again! Seems they are looking into the article describing the break in the deck for the external starter!!! They might make a more concrete description on the diffuser and therefor result in a manditory change for some teams by Melborne.

Ferrari is I believe 7/4 odds right now. Either way favorites suck for any of us state side cause we can't sky bet!

I feel bad for Sutil and Kubica ... what happened to them after Weber's RBR left on the 1st lap sucks ... I would've really liked to see how Sutil would've done with his tire strategy.

I too was curious. I felt the force strong with him prior to that turn

The next race should be a lot different as the track is supposed to be much harder on tires.

Word on the street is also that Merc has brought Monster Engery on board!

Yes, I agree here with Wittmarsh's suggestion of going at least two mandatory pit stops; even better, have as many as they want as a means to alter the present strategy...driving conservatively to reduce fuel consump and conserv tires resulting in little to no possibility for passing. This lead to only the start being "exciting" but even here there was a lack of accel due to heavy weigh...very slow start... precluding any of the drivers to take chances by passing slower drivers with the result being zzzzzz...ohh there is something...Webber created a smoke screen..zzzzz

Also, the tire degrad on the soft was very good rather than an expected short stint thereby precluding drivers with prime tire in the top ten to have a potential advantage (although Sutil was out of it initially so it is moot if there was any advantage).

Autosport claims there will be a conf call in on Thursday between the FOTA and FIA so there may be discussions of changes to the present rules. Something should be done and quickly...we all deserve a better "show" than what we saw Sunday given all the politics, rules for new team entrants and car changes prior to the start of the season. It was claimed that all these new things were going to result in a more exciting race relative to last year...such claims/expectations were totally off the mark.

Later, Ken
