I'm sure it was, but from what I've seen, most of the TA crowd continues to underestimate the benefits to be had from good aero dynamics. IMO it's only a matter of time until someone builds a car with outrageous aero and shatters all current TA records.

Both FXMD and AMS are not doing full Redline schedules this year, just a race or two. These were the two poster cars of last season. AMS used to have big NOS stickers on everything, you'll notice it's gone from all the cars and trailers. FXMD said they could not get enough money to do the whole season.
There is not a good return on investment in time attack right now for sponsers, and without money coming in there is no $$$$ to pay to develop aero. Otherwise you just throw aero at the car and see what happens, which isn't real development.
