RTA round 1 pics and results
We had a pretty good first weekend with our new Time Attack car. It would have been nice to be farther up the podium but we can't complain too much as the car worked pretty great.

results are on the redline time attack website down at the bottom:

Sierra Sierra, Rado, and Cobb were all really fast. We took 3rd in mod AWD and are really wishing we'd turned the boost up for the last session, since Takata/LIC sure did.
Glad to see all those robispec shirts on the podium this weekend.

didn't you hear? Charlie pulled off 2nd in unlimited fwd in a rental neon.
we definitely should have been faster. We had some injector left with the E85 and thought the dash switch went to "middle" boost, but ended up running 19psi all day. We even had the option to put in some Q16 and crank up the boost. This probably would have happened if we weren't fixing other issues all morning.
On one hand it was a good first event for the car, on the other if Ryan and JC had stayed together it would have been easy to end up 5th.

definitely a great first event for me, i am very happy with the outcome being that nils had around well under 500 whp, if my dynograph is correct he was working with around 450whp. and on q16 we would of been in the 620 whp range. so from the times that nils posted, i got to say, he is one awesome driver.
but like peter said, this was the first event for my car and to only be lucky enough to podium is a great sign. but the next event in vegas i will make sure that nils has the whp to do some serious damage.

Give Nils the boost!
Ryan broke a rod, popped holes in the block, started a small oil fire. There is an ironic thread in the EVO X dyno section about his motor going strong for two years on the stock long block and making 566 whp for the upcoming season, and then.... It had a good run though.
