I've been wanting to do a hillclimb event with NEHA or PAHCA for a few seasons, just haven't yet due to either lack of funds or schedule conflicts. This year I'm set on trying it out at least once. I won't be around for the one you mentioned in July but I'd really like to get to one later on in the season.

Im planning MT Ascuteny in september 17 or something. We can go up there together then if that is good for you.

Ive done Okemo many times, first in my BMW and then my Subarus, then my evo (evo 5 RS), always had fun, fantastic town, nice hotels, and the hill is right behind the town.
the hill is very fast, from start all the way up to the fast right kink, up to the 90-deg left, then the 90 deg right all up hill, dont brake too hard for these, as they are on camber and up hill and you'll lose momentum anyways, then then it's hang on tight it gets very very fast, and then twisty up to the finish. The people are terrific, and it's about 3 miles in length,

Jeff was a master on that hill. I had quite a moment one year. There is a fast left hand corner near the top that Jeff instructed me to "apex the corner at the point were you can see the inside of the track through the tree limbs when you reach the turn". I aimed for the spot which was Way! Way! early! When I exited the turn I had dropped my right rear tire over the edge of the pavement and only by staying full throttle did I avert tumbling my vintage BMW in to the trees!. Glad I attempted it and lived! It's a fast great hill to drive. Bring a car with a cage if you want to really go for it.
