I know. I think they are doing everything to lose every loyal Mitsubishi fan and customer. They have bad dealers, sucky customer service, cheap interiors, and now, how can they say that the next EVOs are rally bred? No SCCA and no WRC?

Mitsu, you suck!!!

The decision to bring the Evo was made by some person in marketing who decided that their ability to build a world class production rally car was something that few competitors could match, thus justifying the expense of bringing the evo to compete in our market.
A lot of advertising goin on these days is just full of BS and every good deal has the "fine print" you need a microscope to understand, which after reading it, tells you unless you basically are a saint, you ain't getting ****.

WRC, SCCA, Le Mans, and other motorsports are ways for customers to see that these cars are fast, well-engineered, and last. I'm telling you guys about Mitsu, all they're doing is shooting yourself in the foot.

No WRC??? Mitsubishi never pulled out of the WRC! They just did not compete in 2003, but they were still part of the WRC paying their share of expenses and living up to their obligations to the WRC (shipping container costs, etc.). The only reason they didn't compete was to have more development time and money for the new WRC car. Just because Mitsubishi pulled out of the SCCA doesn't mean the Evo is no longer a rally bred car. The Evo was never based on or built for the SCCA in the first place. The Evo has always been developed around and for the Group A, Group N & WRC classes and still is. Running one year in the SCCA and pulling out changes nothing.
