This complete turnabout in marketing strategy may spell the end of EVO in North America. Gran Turismo players who can afford an EVO is a very limited market to keep offering (and servicing) a fairly exotic, low volume car, especially for a cash-strapped company. Too bad...

I honestly believe the Fast and Furious marketing just isn't the right mix and never was. I still remember the tons of people who cringed when those campaigns were first starting out. Now all those peolple are backing out of loans and costing more money.
The Evo should be in road racing AND rallying, but that's just me. I hope MMNA can still offer some backing to privateers to keep something going.

damn people they arn't gonna drop the freakin evo....they just brought it here.....to end the sales of them here right now would make mitsu take a bigger hit due to the money invested in getting it here. They will at least keep it here a few years....to make it at least worth while....AND would everyone quit acting like mitsu north america is gonna flop.....there are so many freakin divisions of mitsubishi and not to mention the chrysler side to support them through these tough times.....mitsu will be OK....they have a good CEO now...things will turn around.
