NY SCCA AutoX 2nd Place: Pics & Videos July 24th
This weekend I raced with the NY SCCA for an autocross event and Mirokhana race. I placed 2nd in the autox missing 1st by only .01 seconds! Here a few photos compliments of Kevin Markland Photography. Awesome shots and great coverage!!!
Here is also a video I put together from the event. Let me know what you guys think! :hbang2:

There was also a guy there filming on his own. Here is the video that he put together. At 40s you can see me ripping through the course, 3:26 a little 3 wheel action and 4:15 my spin out lol... it was 1st lap getting used to the new rear sway bar in a slalom.

Big thanks to Top Level Performance for a solid built car, E-spec tuning for an amazing tune, Touge Factory for the quality parts and insane vinyls!
Special thanks to Kevin Markland Photography for some great shots.

Congrats on the good finish!
I almost made this event when I heard they cancelled the one on the road course at the last minute, but I was too far away (Avalon, NJ) for me to justify the drive (3+hrs) up there. Maybe next time...

its not NASA, its the BMW CCA, you don't need to be a member and yes its catered to novices getting started.
Here is the link for more info:

cost is $450 for 3-days with an instructor, but they have 1 and 2 options available.

Thank you kind sir! Its amazing how i compete with fully built and tuned cars with my stock suspension... These cars are great out of the factory. I cannot wait to do a coil over system and put up some great numbers!!

That, and it's amazing that you're getting such good results with street tires (ones that aren't top tier, at that).
