Ivey tuned HKS GT7460 GTII @ Monticello.

Testing the new HKS 7460 stock framed ball bearing turbo. Running on 93 pump gas and a splash of 100 (1-2 gallons to a full tank) just for extra assurance. Boost was set around 25 psi of peak and tapering to around 23 @ WOT. This turbo spools just like stock with a little extra power throughout the entire band.
With just the turbo (no cams) and a tune, the car picked up almost 6mph on the long straight (143.85mph vs. 138) and 3.5 seconds on my cleanest lap (2:43.04 vs. 2:46.5). On one of the laps my GPS registered 150.24mph, but I doubt it’s accurate since most of my clean laps registered 142-143mph and I was having problems with my data collection; for some reason it didn’t register every lap.

You saw those gains on the straight over the 9 turbo correct?

Also your 9 was on a dyno in one of your vids what did it put down there.

Daaaamnnn, you were scooting around that place, very nice. Sounds like that turbo has a big fat midrange, just the ticket for the track.

Correct, the gaines were over the stock turbo and the dyno in the vid was on the stock turbo, it was 331whp. The GTII put down 370whp on pump and 402whp on ppump/100 mix.

Nice. Are you on stock motor? What suspension setup are you on?

Are you satisfied with the turbo?

As a reference, I was getting just under 140 (according to my speedo) on a stock car with with just exhaust & tune @23psi. So basically the same what 18bora reported prior to turbo. No idea what my lap times were but someone can try timing some laps off the vids I guess if they want:

Just curious what are your supporting mods and boost control? Was the tune conservative for the road course? Planning on purchasing the kit being offered for road course use as well but somewhat expected closer to ~400whp vs ~370whp. I suppose the cams would help some.

I don't have the boost charted. The 370 run, the boost spiked to around 26 and it held around 23 to redlind (pump gas). The 400 run, it spiked 30-31 and held 27 to redline ( pump/100 - 50/50 mix).
