Even Vettel had to spend a year at Toro Rosso before they gave him Coultard's seat at RBR, so I think they'd give Ricciardo either Buemi's or Alguersari's seat at Toro Rosso before they'd promote him all the way to RBR.

I agree, track is REALLY rubbered in now... Still, thats pretty impressive. I was reading how he was feeling a lot of pressure leading up to the test... Must be nice to not drive (an F1 car) all year, and then hop into the fastest thing on the planet.

The Hulk got let go...

http://www.planetf1.com/news/18227/6...confirm-Rubens

Sucks for him, finding a seat could be tough. He has a ton of talent though, he deserves a drive imo. That lap at Interlagos was nothing short of amazing.

*Cough* Mercedes GP *Cough* I think Hulkenberg should sign with them to be their test driver, and then take Schumacher's seat when he finishes 5th or worse next year. That way they can stick to the all German theme, but with two rising stars instead.

Hmm... that's actually a good idea... Nico R and Nico H... all German... all Nico F1 team... lol

What if Schumacher comes around tho next season? I don't think he's completely done... he's been looking a bit more racey towards the end of the season.

Agreed. He's obviously not completely done, and I think he'll do a lot better next year compared to this year, BUT I still don't think it'll be good enough to outshine Rosberg, nor good enough to complete for the driver championship.....again. In my mind, if that happens then Haug will be forced to drop him and give someone younger a shot, since Schumacher isn't getting any younger, and he'll have no more excuses.

I think he wants a race seat for this season...Liuzzi replacement...Petrov looks like he stays but it is more his sponsorship than driving...he had better clean up his act from this point on or he will not get a second chance.

Calender: Pirelli Final Testing Series

"There will be four tests before the 2011 season starts in Bahrain on 13 March.

The first three tests are in Spain, on 1-3 February at the Ricardo Tormo circuit near Valencia, 10-13 February at Jerez and 18-21 February at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.

The final test will be in Bahrain a week before the first race, from 3-6 March."
