NASA FL @ Homestead Miami Speedway, January 8th-9th, 2011

The first event of the 2011 NASA calendar is the second weekend of January at HMS. For those not familiar with NASA, they put on a great event with everything from HPDE to Time Trials to W2W Racing.

The HPDE program is for everyone, with levels 1-4 depending on your skill level and experience. From there, you can begin Time Trials, racing against the clock in a class of similarly competitive car. Finally, there is W2W racing, which has classes for any car! A NASA competition license is required, though other licenses are accepted such as SCCA, after your credentials are reviewed.

If you have never run your car on the track, or have never run with NASA, it is worth trying it. It is a safe and competitive bunch of drivers who all share the same goal of bringing their car home in the same condition it arrived at the track in.

For the January event, the fees are as follows:

HPDE 1 (w/ Instructor) - 2 Days - $459
HPDE 2-4 - 2 Days - $399
Time Trials - $409
W2W Racing - $299

There are also 1 day rates available for all run groups.

You can register at: http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1166

Dont hesitate to ask any questions and check out the region website, www.drivenasafl.com

Thanks,
Joseph Anderson
NASA Florida PT Director

For sure. We'll be camped out at the place right next to the watering hole/across from Ramada, Southern Comfort RV Resort, ya'll are more then welcome to hang out. We'll likely be at the Mutineer too, but the campground also has a cool tiki bar lol.

Yes anyone can go in the track, use the south entrance. I believe this event is free admission too, you just need to sign the waver at the gate. Lots of 2010's avail for 200-300. Check OGRacing.com, SafeRacer.com, DiscoveryParts.com, etc.
