Did you do anything up front to protect the intercooler? Looking at this pic it seems to me that it's just waiting to be taken out at the the first good bump or dip.

Also did you make your own mud flaps?

About all the protection there is, is the sump guard:

The 3 holes in the front correspond to where the radiator support is.

It hasn't been a problem, the roads we've rallied on are pretty smooth and if we landed the car on the nose at enough of an angle to impact the intercooler, well, I'd assume we'd have other problems as well.

I'm not sure, but I don't think Group N cars have any more protection than we do.

The mud flaps were part of package build I had done on the car. The builder did a nice job, the front flaps are 2-pieces and there's an inner flap that extends towards the center line of the car to protect the car from gravel spray from the front tires. You can see it in the top pic behind the lower control arm.

They're just plastic (not sure the exact type) and the rear flaps are showing some wear and tear after about 100 stage miles so once those get ratty enough I'll use them as templates and make new ones out of polyurethane which holds up great.

Underbody is the same plastic which attaches to the floor pan with bolts through weld nuts. That stuff is still in great shape since it only takes glancing blows.

Here's the rest of the pics I have:

Here's the diff guard:

Oh, something I should mention and I'll do in the off-season, is I need to run a flap from the underbody protection to wrap around the rear lower control arms. From what I've been told, gravel spray will eventually just eat away the rear LCA's. If you're on dirt, not a problem.

I'll be fixing mine up for RallyCross and I've seen Evos lose/damage the lower front spoiler. Seeing that the intercooler is right there it has me concerned.

Thanks for the pics. I like the skid plate. Looks like just one slight bend in it.
