Off to the 2011 One Lap of America start
Although we've been laying low while other Evo folks have been posting press releases and such, doesn't mean we've been doing nothing. The Team Igloo Evo's have been worked over and under and over again and we are all on our way to the start of the 2011 One Lap of America.
Last year Chris and I competed with our friends Steve Burke and Tim Harper ( http://onelap.rochesterdsm.org) and did great, winning the Mid Priced sedan class and taking home 7th overall in our rookie year.
This year we helped found Team Igloo Racing( http://www.teamiglooracing.org), a racing group of 3 Evo's running for the Kids with Cancer Society charity (http://www.kidswithcancer.ca). You might have read up on our ground up AMS build of a 2010 Evo GSR.
Evo X Built For the Greatest Reason Of All
Barry's car, along with the same grey 2008 Evo X we ran last year, along with Paul Seto's 2008 Evo X MR are on our way right now to South Bend for the start of this years One Lap.
You can follow us at Team Igloo Racing as well as on facebook. We're going to try to make update posts and maybe upload some video along the way to keep everyone up to date.
This is going to be a great year on the One Lap trail. 4 Evo X's, an Evo IX ( EVOlutionary ) and 5 of the drivers are members of EvoM!
We'll try to get some pictures of the other guys running as well as there's no doubt the Evo crew is going to hold strong and have some fun along the way.
