Pictures from Ferrari Challenge at Infineon 5/1/11 - can you say FXX?
Was at the Ferrari Challenge event at Infineon Raceway today What an epic day!!! The sound of an FXX is ****ing awesome...that's really all I can say. These are all shot with my iPhone4 so before you tell me how the pics don't do the cars justice believe me I know haha.
Yellow?
Maybe you prefer red?
Or perhaps open wheel?

If you want sound I have that too, but I took small clips and am going to compile them together. Figured everyone didn't want to watch 5 seven second clips. Stay tuned. The iphone actually picked up very accurate sound.
The F1 Cliente cars were deafening.

I thought Ferrari only made one black one. For Schumi himself. They came to Miller Motorsports last year and I have to agree on that exhaust note. Wow. One of the most amazing and powerful mechanical sounds I've ever heard.

I believe that is the Schumi car or at least that's what people were saying. I can't even begin to fathom the amount of money these guys spend on a weekend track day.
They have a full service/pit team, full rig + trailer w/ elevator and that's just for the car. I didn't take pictures of these guys million dollar RV's for the house wives to hang out in while these guys are on track.
My g/f was with me and she was like wtf you make me sit in some folding chair while at the track and these girls are sitting in million dollar RV's LOL. And to my surprise it seemed most of the drivers were legitimate Italians. Who'd a thunk it?
