I hear the upper lot of blocked off for some teen driving school.

Got a buddy on the grass near the MO school cars. Might end up there (at hotel now)

As you see in my signature... I will stand up for TMOS, as it provides great revenues and profitablity for the track owners... (TMOS = The Mid Ohio School). Jarrod, get that gas pedal pushed a bit further, we will see you @ 5:30 :P

Ran 3 sessions today out of the 5. End of day was getting too hot and car/tires too heat soaked.

One funny from today's second session (boomn and EVOlutionary both are in it too). For reference, my top of 3rd is ~80 mph. 4th is about 115 mph.

Great to run with everyone!

Jarrod, would have said later after the 2nd heat. But I think you were taking a AC brake in your truck.

I know know what 1/10th Hoosiers feel like. Butter.

Back at my house. Drove to my mechanics to run down the alternator/battery issue. Found my high speed fan had melted the connector and that was not running anymore. I started to gain heat after 5-6 mins into the laps and pulling timing. Best laps were always 2-3 run. But tires didn't come in until 4-5th lap. C'est la vie

Consistency of a swiss clock. 1.51.556. 1.51.553 (passenger). 1.51.586. 1.52.09x (passenger).

Lots planned for before the August event

Great weekend at Mid-O (no rain!), despite the fact that it was a bit of a zoo for everyone with the number of cars The the poor TT guys had it the worst; can't imagine trying to work through that amount of traffic to grab a lap!

Special thanks to Smike for his lesson in physics on Friday while trying to change out new rotor rings....Australians use tri-wing bits....never again...

Saturday ST race was fun, Sunday had mechanical problems (lost all boost) and to add insult to injury, half way through the race I got an oil bath from one of the SU cars so drove the rest of the way around with an oil soaked windshield

Good to see everyone and congrats to Jarrod and David for their track records!

Hope to see everyone back in August where there will be even more cars and don't forget to bring your wets!

Sorry to hear that Patrick. I had hoped all those boost issues were fixed.

TT was horrid. Mostly because of 1 TTF car (we all know who; not Smike) that I'd catch sometimes on the 2nd lap - which was usually 1/2 a lap quicker than the rest of the TTF/E cars. They really need to demote that guy as he caused problems every session and some bigger than others. I lost a lot of good laps and twice nearly had incidents that I new to back wwaaaaayyyy off to avoid.

What's this with being wet in August? Boooo...
I've got a crapload of changes to make. I ran some descent times, but the changes to the car were a step backwards from April. Bit of a disagreement between myself and my setup guy; turns out I've been right. No biggie; still did descent; I'll have writeup later this week on the 1200 mile journey.
