Everyone had fun at least, right?

This is one thing that i like better about SCCA TT"s. You get a set number of open laps without cars to slow you down.

Meh; that's boring. And doesn't help you to develop better track awareness or open passing skills that are needed for the next step - w2w racing.

Besides; what could be funner than 56 cars on a 2.4 mile track with a 25 second laptime desparity? 1:30 in the front; nearly 2:00 in the rear. Closing speeds...

Your right! If your heading in that W2W direction. .

That is like putting both race groups together and saying "go have fun"

Here's a few (crappy) pics from the weekend.

My trip to Ohio was made via Kentucky. Long... long... long day.

Patrick's car. The camera doesn't do the paint color justice. It's a much deeper orange; my camera phone makes it look dull.

A look at all the Mid Ohio school cars:

The Sunday morning fog delay (was much worse):

And leaving the track:

Anyone here running in DE 3/4 or you all TT guys? I was in the 3/4 group for the whole weekend, though I left before the final outing due to the heat all weekend and the huge wait between them (three + hours).

Hopefully I'll be able to upload some pics tonight.

The fog in the morning was ridiculous. When the sun finally came out, it turned right into humidity.

Very welcome I could lend some weight to the matter.

They really need to demote that guy as he caused problems every session and some bigger than others. What's this with being wet in August? Boooo...
I've got a crapload of changes to make. I ran some descent times, but the changes to the car were a step backwards from April. Bit of a disagreement between myself and my setup guy; turns out I've been right. No biggie; still did descent; I'll have writeup later this week on the 1200 mile journey.
I was 3-4s faster on zero life R6s. And he keeps trying to think where to go rather than hold line.

Lots planned to. Likely just run Saturdays TT. Might even do DE4 on Sunday with a different car. We'll see.

Were you in the white MR? Someone from MI was in a MR. Never saw them by their car though.

No. I took my Evo to Mid-O a few years ago and had a bad experience and I don't want to take it back... we'll just leave it at that.

I was driving a bone stock RSX-S in DE 3/4. Looked something lik this:
