JBM representing the ONLY Evo in this years XGAMES
Well its that time of year again, XGAMES time that is. With the creation of the new Global RallyCross Championship(http://www.global-rallycross.com/) this year, the competition for this years XGAMES spots has become very difficult. With most of the factory European Championship drivers coming over(including 2x WRC Champ Marcus Gronholm), the spots for XGAMES were decided based on championship points.
I am currently the youngest(20) and the ONLY Mitsubishi being represented at this years XGAMES, so I figured I would start a thread on here for you guys to follow the updates as well as post some pics of the car as we get it ready for XGAMES. We've got some body work to do after a collision in the last round. For those of you who are confused by the pictures below, the rear quarter panels on our car are one piece composite, so they just popped off with the impact. A new engine is also being built, so stay tuned for the build specs, we haven't decided on the turbo yet for the 45mm restrictor, so that update will be coming soon
*Short-ish XGAMES recap on page 2

Update: Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to BFGoodrich for making me part of the BFGoodrich XGames team. The effort they have put into their new RallyCross tires should make them a joy to use. Now all we need are some lightweight wheels to make them even better

Yep, Andi was a teammate of ours for that event. It was a hard hit that bent the cage and cracked the engine and turbo into pieces...
We are still use the stock wheels as well, they are a bit heavier, but the price balances that out. Hopefully for XGames we will have something a bit lighter on there
Another stock part that we are looking to ditch before XGames are the stock front Brembos, We have AP's in the rear, but our rally brakes were just too small in the front.
Anyone had good luck with StopTechs?

Looks like you've made some "non stage rally" modifications to the car (3rd pic in first post looks like maybe you're using tear-off rear quarter panels?).
Able to share what you've done and what sort of weight savings you've found? I know of another Evo that would love to be out there mixing it up!
Edit: looked at the pics closer and you've done exactly what I was thinking of doing - 2 door Evo with rear doors integrated into the quarter panels. LOL Now I'm really curious what sort of weight you've saved.
