Like I said, I'm going Thursday. Anyone else going - speak up. I'll probably try for the free shuttle; why not! Btw; the deadline was Monday to purchase tics.

On Thursday, I see Group D (ST2) has a quals race that gets over at 4:15. Group I (TTA/S/R/U) has their 2nd session right before that. That'll encompass pretty much all of the Evo contingent right there.

I am registered and qualified for Nationals. Running the Eclipse is TTD, currently I hold both course records in the car so I am hoping for a good showing at Nationals. I'd love to win of course and add a National Road Racing title to my resume. Next year I'm gonna take it easy, this year was like a job. I plan to just hit some new tracks and relax!

Now I have a hurricane to race against. I need to trailer the Evo up to Function First in Vermont before Irene hits Connecticut this weekend!

All the TTA records have been broke this year. I broke the Club Course record in April.
As for the PRO - there's been 2 of us that have ran faster than the Regional TTA record and the National TTA record already!

Well based on the fact Nationals are held at Mid Ohio and I hold both track records, the Pro course by a large margin over the old record, I'd hope they are pretty safe....

I think you have a good chance in TTD. If you can run what you did in July; a 1:40 or better sounds pretty solid for that class.

That's based on the fact I know the 2 guys running 1:38's in TTC and they're pretty damn good!

Thanks Boomn, I ran one session two weeks ago and ran a 1:40.1 and am 100% sure I can run in the 1:39's, Robi did it on full slicks and 100 pounds out of the car and I've been ahead of him slightly with the same set up, so a 1:39 should be attainable. I hate speculation, just hoping for the best!

Pulled the winning times from the 2008 Nationals:

2008 TTU - 1:27.4
2008 TTS - 1:31.2
2008 TTA - 1:33.6
2008 TTB - 1:37.8
2008 TTC - 1:38.7
2008 TTD - 1:42.2
2008 TTE - 1:42.4

As both DB and I have mentioned, some of these times have already been surpassed this year. Actually I just checked, and ALL of them have been surpassed. Actually all of them (except TTU) was surpassed on Sat at the Aug MW/GL NASA event! lol.

There was a 1:36.5 in TTB in the 2007 nats (IIRC)...aiming for it and some more if I can acclimate to the mondo grip of the a6 and make good use of my newly installed datalogger.
DL-1 experience anyone?

I have a little experience with the DL1. That is what I use. Feel free to PM me or track me down at the race if you want to discuss it.
