F. There is not much difference (around here) btw the TTA/TTB cars. Traffic is going to be a killer in the slower group. All the more reason to go to TTA next year!

Well, it really depends on who's running right?

The track has something to do with it. Longer straights give the higher HP cars more of an advantage. More twisties give the lighter weight cars help, etc.

In July at MO the TTA times were 1:33-1:37. The fastest TTB cars were around 1:39. The Fastest TTC cars were around 1:39 too...

Yeah. And in the end, it was probably divided by car counts.
I think the TTB nats record is mid 1:36.

I'm seeing 5 sessions for both TT groups - love it!

No ITC on the schedule. I guess all 5 of the Caymans aren't coming...darn...

Nah, it was most likely just divided by class from top to bottom and they picked the cutoff at about the mid-point of entries.

Although TTB is nearly as fast as TTA, you will have less worries with catching traffic too soon compared to the July MidO event as there will only be around 30 cars on track instead of 55. Therefore the tail end of the train will be closer to the first car and will take longer to catch. Some sessions last month when I was the first car out I caught lap traffic anywhere from the beginning of my second lap to the end of my second lap no matter if I went slow or fast on the out lap. That SUCKED.

I am excited about this upcoming weekend!

Very true. I've got another friend (former Evo owner) that brings me beer from Wisconsin. Brought me some Sand Creek stuff last trip; that was a first.

Tangent...fixedthatforyou.

Per capita, greatest concentration of breweries is in Great Lakes (something crazy like 75 breweries in MI alone).

LoL. So the rule is if you live in an area where there is nothing better to do and you die if you go outside in the summer or winter, brew beer.

Pretty much. Historically, it was also safer to drink beer than the water (like the cholera outbreak in Britain). But really, winter is cold. Drinking helps pass the time.

The Function First ST-2 Evo is about ready as we can be. Spent today at Mid Ohio meeting new racer friends and checking out the competition. We drove 14hrs. Arrived after midnight so we just set up today and will be rested to go to work Saturday. There is a very good chance of rain Sunday, so tomorrow is the day for the TT guys. I am looking forward to play in the rain Sunday. My 5 year old 1/2 spent Hoosier rains are not great but I,m an ice racer so I can have even more fun! Patrick was on track today so he will be up to speed for tomorrows qualifying. There is a real crazy areo fast looking Corvette here in ST-2. It makes our car look tame! I did not see it go on track so we will wait to see how fast it is. Come on rain!
