We are leaving for Global Time Attack in the morning so I thought I'd post a small entry.

For the last round of Global Time Attack at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California, we are going to support both Biggie's 240sx and the winner of Lap Battle this year, Kyle Hatch's Evo 8.

Biggie is our local hero. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have time attack or cheap track time in Utah. He's taking his S13 240sx, which is name Thunderdome.

The prize for the winning driver at this year's Lap Battle was paid entry to the last Global Time Attack event, as well as dyno tuning though my shop Ziptie Dynowerks, and chassis setup from Race Co.

Kyle Hatch was the winning driver this year. Here is a small video I made about it. It's from clips of video that I took while playing around with Go Pros.

Here are Kyle's Numbers that he made. 466.8hp and 442.2tq. He came in 4th place in his class (Limited AWD). We had no problems with the car while we were there.

 

Saw the car there yesterday. Looks great!

 

I am just wondering, why they name it global? There is people from all around a world there?
Just makes me wonder, I never heard that TA, series before.

 

It's the series that Redline sort of spiraled into. Different management, pretty relaxed, and majority of its backing is from Chris Rado. Most of the fastest cars run in GTA, like GST Motorsports, FXMD, World Racing, Professional Awesome, etc.
