Most vehicles lose half their value in the first 3 years, so we're right down the middle of the road on that one. It just seems bad to us, because most of us have never bought a brand new car before. I bought my 89 Trans Am for 5k at a dealer and sold it for 4k 2 years and 30k miles later. Of course, it cost a fortune to maintain.

But anyway, try not to crash. It's not fun... just ask the guy who destroyed the front clip and airbags on his 125k Porsche at Buttonwillow last year. When the EMTs asked if he was ok, his response was to throw his helmet down the front straight and shout "****! ****! ****!" for about 5 minutes.
