guys. you can fit these pumps almost anywhere. dave just made it ''hidden'' to clean up the bay, shorter lines, less nose weight. im sure other reasons too.
if you have ABS and it does not fit then have lines made and mount it were you just removed the OEM pump. yea it will look funny but ask your self WHY did you want this mod. less weight? less drag? well you still get that benefit.

It is coming in the mail today so I will update this later with my findings.

I spoke with a local shop that has good connections with Porsche Motorsport. Late production 996 cups came with the electric power steering pump. All 997 cups had the system, unless it was not optioned. But they cannot recall if they ever saw a 997 cup without it. I'm checking with them on sourcing a pump new and used. Just curious on the price.
Good luck with the install and I'd love to see detailed pictures of the kit. Did you find a belt yet?

So after this test fit I've come to some conclusions.
This kit will only work with AC deleted. One of the lines will hit the upper portion of the pump (from what I could see on a bone stock customers car).
This will totally work with ABS.
You must remove your intake manifold to do this, it may be possible to do without but your just going to make it harder for yourself.
Here's what comes in the box
This is it all laid out.
-Pump with ground wire, alternator power wire and signal wire.
-Low pressure line
-High pressure line
Here's a pic of it mounted in my buddies Evo 9, he already has is intake manifold pulled.
I should get it mounted up in my car tomorrow hopefully with more pictures.
Only thing I changed on here was putting a bead in the stainless steel hardline that's included. It is the low pressure line but I'd rather be safe than sorry since I have the tool.
Here's a better picture of the bead.
I'll update this as I go.

The newer pumps come with a little catch can attached to the cap mounted higher than the reservoir because these pumps like to belch a little bit when they get hot.
The pictures I have seen from Buschur indicate that the pumps he is selling are the older model pumps. Just be aware that this can be an issue.

These are TRW JER100
They are used in everything from Euro Fords, Vauxhalls, Porsche Cayennes, VW, and Skodas.
There are numerous variants of the pumps with different electrical connectors for different OEMs; JER111, JER112, etc.
With a new version/model for higher pressure/resistance of SUVs starting around JER153.
JER100
JER115 (different terminal connectors & reservoir)
JER153
edit2:
I just noticed in the pictures of the kit you just received... did Buschur seriously just shave/sand off the TRW logo off of the reservoir?

Also I believe I know why Buschur did not included an accessory belt. I'll be posting pics in the next couple days.
