2017 / 2018 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational

I went in being optimistic but had odds against me. Massive exhaust leak, new track and first time auto crossing. Didnt do to bad. I did win the "First Timer" award.
All in all its a great event. But you have to set the car up just for this. For time trials i have to change the setup. I would have to run massive tires to keep up corner speeds like those vettes with 335-345s and drop some weight. Race weight is like 3650. USCA hosts a great event.

Looking forward to the new episodes on MAV TV! Hopefully I come out a few times
It was my pleasure Jim, this series is completely different to anything else, and I mean that in a good way. You need a very well rounded car to win there, and be a great driver. Its an amazing challenge for sure. Theres never any down time. Always some type of action.

Thanks David. We did post one gallery so far from that event and will eventually post more. Various media outlets also get photos. If I do my job correctly, you'll be able to find more by just googling your name with "Evo" and they should pop up. Our library has tens of thousands of images from all kinds of events that have yet to see the light of day and we're always pushing out more content across all our channels, so search often ends up being the easiest/fastest way to find many of them (except for what we post on Facebook).

Ken did indeed win it this year in the black evo 9 .
First ever import to win, first 4 door to win, first AWD car to win in the 10 years of the series.
Brandon's white evo took 4th overall. (had clutches issues, so he missed some auto-x runs)

I definitely like the subtle voltex aero bits on the black rs. Paddle shifter is unreal and they definitely did a great job building it.. I really want more pics of the white voltex widebody rs!
