2017 / 2018 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational
UPDATE, NEW VIDEOS from the 2015 EVENT:
Here is an overall look at the entire event:
Here are Andy's Highlights.
ORIGINAL POST below:
If you follow Optima's search for the ultimate street car, you probably know that EVO is looking stronger than ever to win this year. There are 8 evo's qualified that will be competing this year and they all have a real shot to win in my opinion.
This is the 8th year of the OUSCI and in years past it has always been won by a Corvette or a Camaro. Ronnie at RS motors is putting toghter an awesome crew that looks to have one of the White "RS" evo9's to take home the crown. My personal bet is on Andy Smedegard or Brandon Ranvek, but all evo drivers are damn good.
I can't wait to see what happens this year!
FYI,
Brandon Ranvek's evo would have won last year had he not had an engine failure on the road course. Even with this issue he managed to finish second overall in the 90+ car field.
They even converted a Camaro driver to head over to the winning side!

I assumed they were trying to give a little more to the non-aero muscle cars. Not sure why a car can't be a "street" car with a huge wing.
