Well finally got to drive the truck. I thought I posted a video but don't see it. I was noise restricted so could barely get on it. But still got to make sure the truck was safe. It was purchased by Faith Motorsports and is being reinstated to NASCAR Camping World Competetion this year. Here are a few videos. I was noise restricted to 98DB. At partial throttle I was still at 103 Even then the truck was wicked fast and I was running ver everyone on the track. Great experience.

I always thought a nascar would make an awesome track vehicle if I ever had the money laying around for something like. They are fairly light when you pull out all the ballast, and would be a riot with a 600hp pump gas LS motor and real 6 speed trans.

Evo8426-I miss my Mooresville trips. Always see all kinds of cool stuff. Just gonna concentrate on my sons riding/driving and will eventually build another when he can enjoy it a little more.



Yeah they are a blast. Cheap to run also. I may do another one. It will be a pump gas CTSV motor or LS based motor and not a TRD motor worth $65000. That was my biggest worry, hurting the motor. That and way too loud for my local track. Weight isn't a bad thing. I used 160 pounds of lead right rear to help with balancing. The tire width and brakes are massive so the weight is actually a good thing. Mine weighed 3374 with the lead. They are hands down faster than Porsche Cup Cars with equal drivers.

Are you a member at AMP? I'm frequently up there. Good luck with the truck!

On the topic of sounds restrictions at AMP specifically. Bill Elliot's shop was doing sound testing with NASCAR Cup cars and Borla Exhaust. They were able to get it under the 91db and retain good power. Maybe an option for future testing.
