Good luck!!

I already have a set of R4Ses and new front rotors ready for a swap. I will wait for as long as I can with these and make a switch - most likely beginning of the next season since there is still lots of pad left on these! Rotors have much more wear than pads at this time.

Another vote for ST43s here. I've been running the ST43 front/DS2500 rear combo on my car since 2012. I was considering running CLs in the future based on some experience driving a competitive STU car.

Luckily I already own ST43s and just need to bed them to the Girodiscs! I was just thinking there was probably a better, more auto-x friendly pad. I've had some release issues with the ST43s and melted all the dust boots in my front brakes with one track day and a few auto-x events on them. But now the Brembos are rebuilt so hopefully that does the trick. Thanks for the advice guys!

I'm not sure that would be a pad issues but more of a caliper or other issue.

Titanium shims help the dust boots last longer.

Oh man, I need some sort of hard quality plan for the evo cause even as a former military QAQC inspector and all around bad *** mechanic, my work has been shoddy at best lately.

Packwood Tour - Transfercase fill plug fall out on co-drivers last run sunday. Find wastegate line popped off at some point (no wonder shifting to third felt like hitting warp, BOOST SPIKE!)

After Packwood Pro - Find strut bolts loose from removing to get to T-case plug and just zipping them on lightly.

After Track day - Ends early cause terrible exhaust leak. Find one bolt missing and 3 of 4 remaining bolts 1/8-1/4 turn loose. Also forgot to re-connect front swaybar after measuring bump steer with new fix. Start digging around and find 1 hidden transmission bell housing bolt loose (one that goes from engine side to trans).

Time to re-check everything!

After 80+ autoX runs and a track day the redesigned beefy steering arms holds perfectly flat. 10 sets of uprights are being built right now. I will probably delay a second set until words of success come back from the first so get your dibs in now.

Did you see a shop named ludicrous speed built billet hubs for the evo? Apparently they made no geometry changes. Just lighter weight. Oh, and they want $2750 for them. I want to tell them they should've consulted Dallas before making bling pieces...
