Only excuse I've heard is you're waiting on an engine. My engine blew a month ago, I'm going to pick up the new build tomorrow. Step up yer game boss

No comment.... Let's just say it'd be done already if I were doing the work myself.

A f*n men to that. My whole season has been shot...let me step back, almost every season has been at risk due to ....decisions made for....others own benefits....

Hence, gentlemen, why we find ourselves in the "everyone has a cherry picker and a machine shop on speed dial" position we are in now..lol. Annnd even then. Need to patent that magic printer that makes any part you want right then and there out of any material, blocks, carbon, i'd pay lol.

You guys aren't alone. I thought I'd be smart and order an OEM short block. Easy, right? No build time, etc.
six to eight weeks later....

All that time at redline Tom likes to do (we are just as guilty as seen by my destruction).

Terrible timing for a blown engine with nats not too far away though a 4week turn isn't too hard if you guys don't already have a space.

Got pretty lucky on the timing really. better now than day 1 at nats.

My first short block was rolling around the back of the truck, all ***** nilly, with half a cardboard box wrapped around it.
That's after I paid an extra $100 shipping to get it here three days early....which took longer than the original shipper would have.
Good luck, if it was shipped freight. Hopefully you have better luck.
I'm told there were only two 5spds in the U.S. As of last week. Hopefully you got one of those?

Couple updates on things I'm making. I should have 2 sets of control arms available as soon as I can get the trailing arms welded. Would have 4 sets but had a small crash and offset error on 2 rights. Have material to make more bodies and should be able to get 3 more ready quickly.

I also got around to CNCing a test piece for the rear spring perch. Had to cut down a spot and want to play with the stepover and spacing but its pretty rad. Will make a couple changes and machine it in the next few days.

Not sure how many people will want one so I may only make a few sets to start with. I think a set for the FA's would probably be good to work out but would need a shock here to measure and see what needs to change.

What price point are you looking at for the spring perch?
