Sup w/them 2024 Fall Projects?

Well, March is coming and the winter list is getting shorter. Waiting on my rear diff to be refreshed, then finish all the fluids, align and corner balance. Biggest fab thing left is to rebuild the aluminum exhaust. Just got myself a TIG welder to try and do it myself. I figured this would be a good learning project, since it is under the car and no one will see my ugly welds! Maybe for once I'll have everything done more than a day or two before I leave for the first event... maybe.

Trying to have my car together by the beginning of march. Waiting on main bolts to reassemble the engine and then it all goes back in and then I have to run new oil and coolant lines and make my new exhaust. Rear end stuff is all done but some of it needs to be bolted back together and I need to get an alignment. Also need to order the rest of my front brakes, yikes.

i'm about good to go.. swapping in WL endlinks, hopefully gets rid of the front end clunk, and align and corner balance and that's it. about 1mo to go to the first event, which will be an autox tnt to shake down the car

was comparing my new battery with my old one - the old shorai provides a lb equivalent of 36AH. that... is much more than the new AGM i have, about double. Seems hard to believe given my experience with it.

sure will... it will run just twin scavenge pumps and use the OE pump for pressure. The reason is that I want to run it off the aux belt as I drive trough snow and mud (sometimes) so I dont like the crank nose mounted toothed belt.. The only negative side is that it is not meant for super high RPM due to running the stock oil pump.
This scavenge will run off a 180 mm multirib sprocket, so that it does run at lower rpm than the engine.. Since it is a gear pump it will run up to 7500 pump RPM without a problem.
Looking for nice partial vacuum in the crankcase, with fully sealed engine.. no cam cover vents..

minor update for me - i've been on a kick to quiet down the car again. going to run a vibrant ultra quiet resonator, then a bottle resonator, then a 5x11x22 magnaflow muffler (14589). It is enormous and the setup is likely heavier than stock, but I'm okay with that in exchange for quiet. As far as I know, this will be about the largest muffler anyone's fit back there. A decent local shop will be welding it all together.

will do. i'm excited man. it seems this will potentially be almost as quiet as stock based on some stuff i've dug up. some other guy managed to fit a 5x11x30 or something - not sure how, but that plus a resonator WAS quieter than stock. Mine is going to be a good deal shorter, but I'll have a longer resonator & a vibrant ultraquiet resonator which I think can help. I have a feeling the exhaust note is going to be low, which I'm not crazy about, but as long as it's quiet I'll be happy.

On my old turbo Integra, I ran the largest Borla I could fit in the test pipe/cat area that looked something like this:

then the largest Magnaflow oval I could fit in the rear. It was fairly quiet and sounded amazing, IMO. Sure there was turbulence that cost HP, but it was worth it, IMO. I've considered doing the same for the Evo, but just haven't gotten under there to measure clearances.
