not really. tweaked if anything, everything's been straightened out but the bracket attachments on the intercooler were repaired rather than replaced due to the part not being sold. we're thinking if we tweak the bottom couplers and loosen everything and go at the top maybe it'll fit

Hm. seems pretty far off for just a small tweak. Either way, as long as you don't have to stretch things too much. otherwise I see a whole bunch of torn couplings in your future. I speak from experience
anyway, good luck getting it sorted. Let us know how it goes!

Got a cheap dogbox... I want to try it out and see if it is for me... just to get it off the bucket list..

Reason for being cheap, I guess, is that no one knows who made it... it has a somewhat specific design as it is not the usual copy of drenth with small dog rings.. uses big wide rings that are engaged by mostly stock forks (only one fork is custom)...

more fitment issues, this time with the intake w/ MAF kit. i've got one of the best evo shops in the country working on this and they're as perplexed as i am. the shape is basically not letting us fit anything:

you can get a silicone hose with 45 deg or 30 deg elbow, and that will fix your problem. Shame the aftermarket is not doing its job.. I had to cut and weld up some big aftermarket brand intake for the very same reason..

so... anyone have any suggestions for a well-fitting aluminum uicp + air intake? STM does NOT fit. the mishimoto piece looks like it'll fit, but not sure what to do about an intake portion with it

Did you try shimming the mount on the intercooler to make the UICP fit? Or bending the mounting tab?

I bought this ages ago and it still looks new. Brushed aluminum. Fitment is great. Has a the long recirc hose that puts the BOV right into the intake pipe. Samco silicone intake is nice too.

What's your plan with the battery?
