original shop also suggested possibly the turbo water lines or the radiator hose, it's just impossible to tell. what else would "pass" a 15psi pressure test?
i guess really only thing left is to take it to MN or WI, not drives i look forward to once again

turbo line looks fine:
and I see a good deal of coolant on the coolant pipe itself, and on the backside of the transmission much more the front (lends itself to head gasket then?)? it's hard to see and hard to take pics but i think the thermostat housing & gasket are fine..
and the t-case:

No i'm talking about the throttle body hose connection that's adjacent to all that coolant mess. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo, but the clamp looks like it might be on a little crooked. Regardless of that though the proximity to all that mess and still fresh wet coolant seems like a smoking gun to me.

is it this sensor? https://stmtuned.com/products/water-...=1008086155273
i'm ok to replace with a new one if that's better. it was dry to the touch but i can try touching it with paper towel or something when car is hot.

I will look into the temp sensor next i guess, since it does seem to have some crust on it?

if its not wet then ignore it for now/ I'm not sure why theres so many traces of coolant but forget those and address the currently wet areas

thought it was, but readjusted it now per below. i can see if i can finagle a paper towel around that pipe and hose.
i've got the sheepey csf, which has a 1.4 bar/20psi cap. maybe it's too much pressure, and i should switch to oem-level cap?
