Just a gt3rs.... love riding in that thing.
Ya something like that. I don't want to spill the beans in case he is keeping it a secret. All I can say is its going to be awesome and unlike any other Evo I have seen. He said I get to drive it once it's up and running so I'm super excited.

In my defense I gave them no usable info, other than what you guys are doing is awesome haha. Did you ever get that one part you have been waiting on in?

Interest is PIQUED! Very curious at what Marshal and Tom do. I think I have or am working towards the peak potential minus super fancy trans. So what ya'll do different will be real interesting.

damn you guys get ripped with that carpark speeding stuff We do more laps in 1 race than u guys get in a whole event haha. Would love to swap fuel bills tho.
I did some work on the car last night and found 2 big issues which im glad i found. I found the cambelt tension had slackened off heaps and the hydro tensioner was pretty much fully extended. We had issues setting the tensioner last time we did it. Pulled the engine mount out and did it all properly this time so that was a cool find.
Also found a small crack in my manifold which i removed and welded up. Small crack now but would have been a big crack by the weekend so glad i found those two. Racing again this coming weekend. Tight battle for 3rd place in championship so need every point we can get in the last 2 rounds.

Ill get a new manifold in the winter, my current one is over 10 years old so its well worn out now haha. I considered going full race or hypertune or something but the position would be all different and id have to re design the whole lower exhaust etc which i cant be bothered with.

Replaced the stock passenger side motor mount with a hardened rubber ralliart motor mount. Had to be pressed into the original housing. My original one was torn around the outer edge. Terms of NVH, none increase at all. I have one more mount for the driver side but I wanted to see if just adding the passenger one would add too much nvh but doesn’t at all. Also the rubber still looks really good so 🤷♂️.
