If you are really anti Walbro, and you made sure you have genuine walbro and still hated it, then get something like an aeromotive pump.

The one thing I will say about the wally 255, is that they are very sensitive to being run dry or low on fuel and over heating. Once you do that, they can whine and fail. It's probably good practice to not run around with an almost empty tank in an Evo, but that's none of my business. :P

it whined from day 1, may be more sensitive to high pitched noise than others - nearly drove me crazy. i can try the aeromotive 340

Nice thing about the Evo 10's is that you cannot hear the in-tank pump compared to the 8/9.

I think the aeromotive 340 or something like that failed in my car in like 4 months. I put back in the walbro and its been in the car about 8 years total.

I've had the STM or AMS 1 piece line w/o the pill since forever too.

Its sitting in the slave cylinder. I pulled mine back when I put in a SS line. It might help save your drivetrain from the shock if you were to accidentally side step it. Personally, I wanted mine out but if you have codrivers who are used to RWD platform, might be wise to keep it in there.

The Aeromotive and AEM drop in pumps definitely aren't as reliable as the walbro.

Also, my clutch pill is removed. Knowing what I know now, I don't think removing it has any real benefit. Leaving it in makes it easier to modulate the clutch though.

i didnt realize the walbro was literally the only fuel pump that was reliable and worked for our cars.

also not sure if relevant - will be on stock engine/turbo, 24psi max
