It honestly doesn't matter. On any amount of ethanol over 40% you'll have more than enough octane for your needs. The gains you'll see from moving to ethanol are from a better latent heat of vaporization, which means the fuel can cool the cylinders better between combustion events so oxygen density is able to increase slightly and you're able to create more power.

But yea, I picked up a Haltech elite 1500. Will be running their wideband O2 for full time closed loop fueling and a rotary trim knob for boost on the fly control. Next step is to grab an Aim MXM dash which will replace my Defi gauges I had before, so that will display temps and pressures as well as have alarms and will give me datalogs with engine data and telemetry automatically time aligned. And in the future I can grab an Aim smarty cam and have all the data overlaid on video with having to do a ton of post processing work.

Regardless. It doesn't really matter. For most people's purposes it all works well.

i was interested in flex fuel but it seems ASM prefers the dual map method. i've discussed and made clear with him that oftentimes it's going to be a minor mix in there - maybe a gallon or two of 93 left before pouring in e85, be that e65 or whatever. i think that will be fine.
how many of you guys are running the grimmspeed master cylinder brace? i had one that i took off because i didn't like how unevenly it made the strut tower brace sit

And honestly, if a tuner can't do it, I'd be hesitant to use them.

Haha the FB stuff is just for vanity. Nobody ever has technical discussions on my posts. And I posted about it in my build thread
