The Norris twin-charge setup is an impressive solution. I've always wanted to see one run.

An all-out anti lag setup would still beat it, though. Less weight up front, less complexity, faster transient response in the turbo powerband. Fewer things to break.

Not exactly practical, though. I still want to see a more pedestrian anti-lag setup in an autocross situation.

all 4 corners wound up with varying degrees of toe. the fronts actually had quite a bit of toe-in, 5/32nds on one side and 1/6th or so on the other. the rears had a decent amount of toe in as well

not at all, so very odd. the bushings were new at the time of install so maybe they settled or something? but that still doesn't explain the rear toe moving either. maybe things weren't tightened down proeprly?

hilariously, fedex only managed to ship 2 of the 4 falken tires to me so i'm running them in the front and the good bstones remaining in the rear. will be interesting.

I've heard of rear toe adjustments moving around a bit, to the point people weld the eccentric washers in place. It might be a good idea to get under there and mark their positions now that its dialed in so you can spot check them to make sure they haven't moved around on you.

The toe bolts get stripped all the time from impact wrenches and then the alignment won’t hold. It’s a good idea to bring new eccentric bolts with you to the alignment and ask them to be gentle and replace anything that is stripped. I’ve gone through a few sets on my car before I decided to just do my own alignment.

I had shops using impacts on the BOLT side. Finally one day, I caught them doing it and realized why my alignments were always FUBAR and the bolt always needed replacement. Also, the washer that goes under the nut is made of THE worst metal and rounds itself out every time you attempt to reuse.
I think someone came up with an alternative with serrated washers. Looked pretty sweet.

I put in new rear toe and camber bolts every time I loosen them just becuase they suck so bad. I actually had one strip out during an auto-x and it self adjusted the toe all the way in.

Maybe it was cause I always did my own alignments, like literally the Evo has never had an alignment outside of my garage, but I've never had to replace the toe-arm bolts. The OEM circa-2006 bolts still hold my SSB toe-arm at max outward position. I can see how they'd be a bit fragile for sure, but its never been a problem for me.

Congratulations on your 1:39.xx at Laguna.
Can you please tell us, what spring rates, 275/35x18 NTO1? on PF01 18x10.5 +38?, and the 2.2/R2 motor MHI Turbo--> how much boost/power are you running at the track? The Brembo's are OEM, and 2-piece rotors, or Evo X Brembo with 2 piece rotors?

Only to put it into prospective of what some friends manage (slower all than you).

These were ST41, like smack in the middle of 43 and 47 for bite/friction/heat tolerance. The pads never gave up, driving the car I had no idea the brakes were basically melting/falling apart. I think the rotors over heated and the pads were ok. Definitely needs ducts to get more air in the rotors.

the 2.2/R2 motor MHI Turbo--> how much boost/power are you running at the track?
-MHI Red, wastegate is ~24psi. I was running easy timing, only 12* at 8k. Never dyno'ed it in this trim, I would guess 510-520whp. I do know it's about 400wtq. Since it was on the dyno at this boost and timing at peak torque. We just backed timing off up top.

These are EvoX front brembo's, girodisc 2pc front rotors, centric slotted rears, raybestos ST41 pads.

Also I'm stoked that either the setrab oil cooler and 7qt pan, I could lap this car and oil temps just at 230 without issue. Granted, it was only 70* up here today. But still pretty good IMO. I was on average getting 7-8 laps in a 20 minute session. The organizer, Northern California Racing Club, ran a great event.

Also. I drive the car hard. I'll get GoPro footage uploaded when I get home.
