btw, couple of nice details... cooling fins on the external damper reservoars, super high damper top mounts... really cool air intake...
I talked to Gilles Panizzi once, spoke a bit about the mitsubishi project.... we was fuming... apparently mitsubishi just pulled the financing quite early.. never developed the car properly..

I too have lots of stuff to button up on the car including your rear uprights. Not to mention the stuff I wana do on the E3. But I think before I get back to wrenching I need to give the garage itself some love. I need a new slab poured, and if I'm going to do that I'm going to get it done thick enough to support a lift. Also need to insulate and drywall it and add some outlets. Only 1 outlet in the whole damn garage... And now that the wife is working (got her dream job as an OR Nurse), hopefully the money to fund these things can slowly start coming back.

I forget the brand but there is a "short post" lift that is mobile. So I intend to drill holes in multiple locations depending on my needs for the garage at any given time. Need that flexibility with a puny 2car garage and 2 cars to play with. Plus there is a sizeable loft above the garage and I'd like to vault the ceilings for extra height so I may need to add beams down to the concrete to support that.

If you can vault the ceilings and get a full height lift, I would go that route.
