Trying to fab a downpipe up this year that let's everything breathe a little easier by going 3.5". Anyone familiar with a cast turbine discharge that's 3.5 so I can fab the rest of the dp? I see a lot of diesel truck stuff but I'm not certain the outlet flanges are compatible.

Few updates on my end, Installed all the components for the paddle shift now just need to set it all up. Will aim to do this over the next week or 2.

Turbosmart have come onboard as a sponsor with a new Powergate60 wastegate and Raceport Blow off Valve which are looking pretty swish. We didnt quite get a chance to get the car fully tuned but we got something going for racing on the weekend, Had a few issues over the weekend which werent much fun. Race 1 we had a pretty wicked race until the last few laps where the car was getting quite warm and it shut down on me numerous times in the last 2 laps taking us from 2nd place to 5th. Race 2 we had an ECU fuse pop which we think was an error by us, suspected there was an issue with the radiator fan control signal so i hardwired them to the battery. due to the short turn around between races we all missed taping up the pins from the ecu (i had to re use the DTM plug casing as i didnt have another 2pin male at the track) and we think the pins may have touched causing the ecu fuse to pop. Silly mistake.

Sunday went a bit better we had 2 second places. Race 3 we were on for the win until our cut gremlins came back. The oil breather on the rocker cover had come loose and sprayed oil everywhere including into the crank sensor plug and we think this is what caused the cuts as the RPM just cuts to 0 momentarily then comes back so we think the motor lost its reference and shut down. The afternoon race went better again as we picked up another second place.

Few things to sort out over the next few weeks before the next round! Also not very happy with how the downshifts feel on this gearbox and i dont seem to be able to get my head around why its so rough, Tried blipping, clutch, clutch till RPM drops to idle etc. Hoping paddleshift and perfect rev match will sort it out.

Wow this place is dead. How the heck is the marketplace dead. This is crazy LOL. Seems like the motorsport guys are really the only ones active. Considering how small the group is, the Evo is head to Supra/RX7 type rareness fast. I still have mine. Wont lie i think about selling it all the time. New car are so much better out of the box. I have tracked my Evo 4 times in the past 6 months, still getting at it, still a cool car.
