well i tried it. it took about 15mins of pumping (a quart) I didnt have to fight the stiff hose tho
I should have gotten the 24v pump

10psi on the compressor, flip the bottle upside down and it goes in 2-3 seconds. Shut the valve, refill the bottle(s) with Redline of choice till she's full. I've done this 4 or 5 times on the DSG gearboxes and I think it's my new method going forward

I recently came across a nice little kit the VW's use on the LiquiMoly bottles: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben.../000545sch01a/

i got my 24v pump ready for the next fill!

Now if we only knew some GUYS who could make the adapter to fit the Evo fill threads so that you could overfill them, hmmmmmmmmm
Pretty basic, either machine the 1/4 air compressor fitting nice and neat with an o-ring to fit our threads. Or a little cheaper would just be a barbed hose end and you skip the brass compressor adapter all together.
If you really want to make money on it, machine the main fill tube and make it fit Redline quart bottles. Cause NOBODY makes anything that fits dem *****es.

This is NOT my car, but another one we've built here at the shop. And I'm excited to finally have real results with this turbo on a dyno jet dyno and plenty of fuel system. This literally ALL OF IT, an additional 15% (in 5% increments) wastegate duty cycle didn't make more boost or power. It doesn't layover hard like its has back pressure, so I think this all the compressor flows. This was 30 psi ramped to 32 out the top. Didn't want to make more torque on the Exedy twin.
Evo8, 4g64 2.2, Headgames pocket port, GSC R2 cams, ETS Vband G30-770 Kit 1.01ar hot side. RMC spec fuel system.

Whats the boost threshold like if you're starting at 1500rpm?
Obviously this wont spool as fast as a twin scroll turbo, but i'm also interested in the transient (Time to boost) response also.
So if the "770" version makes 675whp, then we could probably assume the "660" version would make around 580whp?

Spool didn't change whether I started at 2500 or 3000 or 3500.
Transient is very good on the street. Both on shifts, and on/off throttle when you're above boos threshold rpm. Garrett did a great job with these turbos. I don't think I would bother with a T4 setup on this.

It does spool later than a red on an Evo8. I should have results with my car with the Artec manifold and Mivec in the next 10 days

Nice work, impressive. I am not big on pie cuts, but I have to say your work looks really beautiful.
Are you concerned with the WG pipe out, that water may collect in wrong spot?
I like the idea, I am just concerned with noise.
Looking forward to see you drive off and share the initial impressions.
Would be awesome to see overlap of FP Red and G30-770, to see how they compare on same car.
Manifold looks great quality.

He did pie cuts for a smoother bend. I agree with you that they look "better" or worse than we'd just cheated a tight radius 90 with a single "pie cut" similar to an ETS O2 housing.
Hood exit was mostly for ease of packaging, and it's not really a street car anyways. So I'm not worried about rain.
I also can't wait to see back to back results. My car only has 1650cc injectors so we will have to stop around 615whp, but I'm more interested in spool up.

I've installed the #SSBDesigns upright's in the Infinite Evo test car (Evo 6).
Rear's were simple, just a ride height change.
Fronts were more tricky with the Evo 6 upright design and their lower ball joint.
I made a new adapter plate that bolts onto the factory arm. Moved the balljoint 10mm forward also for some extra caster.
Hopefully hit the track in the next few weeks for a direct back-to-back comparison.
Note: these CP9A (Evo 4-6) Front uprights use the bigger CT9A front wheel bearing at my request. This allows for the use of Evo 7-9 front axles as you can't buy Evo 4-6 axles any more. So that's a bonus!
Fronts:
New wheel bearings and ARP wheel studs all round too
Hassling Dallas on messenger to get the torque specs for these
+10mm offset forward for more caster.
Rears:
Pretty straight forward install. The whole handbrake assembly can stay together when swapping these over.
CP9A chassis is very limited on tyre sizes, 255 is pretty much the max without cutting up the fenders.
Nice toe adjustment rod that comes with the kit
