Does this thing happen naturally, or my tuner manhandled it? I was going to test a backup MAP sensor and noticed the whole thing moving just when I was removing the clip

I had an issue on my 3rd autox run after i got my car from the tuner, felt like 1 coil/sparkplug died. could this cause it?
I think I have to keep this strap to avoid this issue, especially when folks struggle with the plug. maybe someone can design a nice looking one

It could have simply failed. It's just glued together

I've never seen someone put a strap over their MAP sensor before lol. Just put a new sensor on and be on your way.

I was testing a new one when I discovered it. First I wanted to know if it still works, 2nd is to figure out how to avoid it from happening.
remember me when it happens to you

I run a stainless steel AEM sensor so I'll never run into this issue, but when I did run a stock style Omni Power sensor for years it never gave me any issues

If you're tracking your car it's a good idea to get any pressure transducers off the engine. They live a much longer life when they aren't being rattled to death.

I certainly don't think the strp is necessary. I've never seen an omnipower sensor come apart like that, just said it's possible. They more often just fail/stop working, so not very often are they in service long enough for the case to fail lol

I just get it from Advanced Auto Parts. I make sure it only says EAC on the box, anything else a fake.
I researched the Denso "upgrade" but it doesnt seem popular, i have 2 sets semi used. I keep going back to ngk iridiums.
when i bench tested these plugs their spark looks weak compared to standard plugs on my BMW X5 so I'm hoping to find an ignition uprgade

I heard of people running "one step colder" idk if that's still a thing but I haven't noticed any issues with my iridiums, but idk if going to the 71hta will change anything. can't remember what i ran when i was on the fp green on my old evo

Generally it won't start, and if it does start, it either gets too little fuel, or too much fuel depending on which side it failed to.

Switching to SD was a good thing. Just keep ad a MAP sensor to your spares list.
